  • here is an idea... epic or legendary cards should never suck.

just because a perk card is gold shouldn't make it epic. i continue to receive the same cards all the time no matter what i trade in. i've received the legendary command card "training grounds" 3 times, the epic command card "special support" 3 times, and "last stand" command cards more times than i can count. what's worse is i've never actually seen my last stand command cards in action. when i attack other players i see their "last stand" command cards in affect, so i know they work for some people. i'm actually using 2 "last stand" command cards of units i don't even own yet (the riot and the sergeant), so i always look for them when defending against the computer or watching the tape of a PVP defense battle, but they never emerge.

WTF does that even mean? how good do you need to be before you can get decent cards? my base is almost indestructible, and i win almost every battle against opponents 3000 base power or less. even if i buy gold i get crap. i have more barbed wire than i'll ever need. maybe if it didn't count 14 build points it would be worth using. the game is stingy to the point where it's obvious the game is not just pay to win, but pay a small fortune to win.

It isn’t pay to win. It is pay if you want additional luck rolls to get stuff you don’t yet have.

Just keep at it. You're not always gonna get the card you want. Just wait til you open a red crate and get a Legendary Poison Resist...it's the worst. When I first started playing I got like 4 Legendary Last Stand Surgeons and I thought "wtf...why do I keep getting this card?" so I recycled them thinking I'll probably get more later. I haven't got one since and it's been like 3 months. It took me forever to finally get that Training Grounds card and I'm still trying to get the Ego card.

It is much worse than the odds at a Casino which is regulated gambling. The "loot" drop systems in video games are unregulated gambling where developers are free to be more unfair or target your gambling impulses more individually.
