  • Announcement: GUNS UP! 3.10 Update - Matchmaking Changes!

    Attention soldiers! Hopefully as you all know, we’ve been hard at work on the battlefield putting the final touches on the GU! 3.10 Update, which includes big changes to PvP matchmaking and adds a new Campaign mode (http://forums.gunsupgame.com/forum/n...w-pvp-campaign)!

    We’re happy to confirm that 3.10 is scheduled for release on Tuesday, Nov 28th !

    This new matchmaking system provides a greater balance in opponent selection and will also mitigate uneven attack distribution across the player base, which we know is particularly important with Alliance Battles and has been a hot topic in the community.

    Given that we can only turn so many knobs tweaking this system during our internal testing, we’ll be relying on you- THE COMMUNITY, to help us fine tune the matchmaking as it’s rolled out. As such, it’s important to know that while rare, you may experience some slight matchmaking imbalance in the first few days after release. Since we’re able to adjust matchmaking values in real time, we encourage you all to play as many matches as possible. The more battle logs we have, the better the experience will become for all!

    Once the 3.10 Update rolls out we’ll be providing some more info on the functional and visual changes included in 3.10. Thanks again to all of you for your continued support and interest in GUNS UP!, as well as all of the feedback and suggestions you’ve provided so far and continue to provide.

      I’m very eager to see the changes in matchmaking system. Can we also please bring the mercenary back to hero status? He is very weak in HQ squad cards, weak on attack and useles as a base defender.

            Personally I'd like to see more Hero Perks but no one gives some ideas to the GU! team.

              Hero perks? Lol no thanks. I'd rather have some brand new units and defensive base structures than some perks.

            Wha happened to the range perk? Are we going to see some of the aerial HQ cards? We have poison bullets how about fire bullets?

              Range perk would be nice on assault units but pls not for bombadier and the sniper's. Fire bullets is a great idea. How about electro bullets? Or a new unit who make shocks? With or without showing the skeleton.. just kidding
              But shockgrenade as a card and trip wire for our bases. More selections.
              Maybe this perk is useless because its only for sergeant, medic and engineer but a perk which increases their circle.

              ive seen a topic about paratroopers and putting perks on them. Great idea from these guys.

                Indeed the Range perk is properly going to be made into a Hero perk. For the sake of balance, it should not able to be used by sniper,sharpshooters, Bombardiers or Rocket launchers.
