I get a CE-34878-0 error & the game crashes out every time I attempt a random CPU defend (wave attacks ) (please note previously posted on Steam Support by mistake (I'm playing the game on a PS4)).Thank you for your consideration.

This one is a console crash and can, sometimes, be resolved through a console initialization. Give it a try when you have a chance and then let me know if this corrects the issue for you.
